Palms Book State Park and Michigan's largest natural spring draws thousands of visitors each year. We're conveniently located on your way to and from Kitch-iti-kipi — stop in for souvenirs, snacks, and fishing gear.

41st Annual Manistique Trout & Salmon Derby — July 25 & 26

The Manistique Area Sport Fishing Club's annual derby is back, with $5,000 guaranteed for 1st place salmon and $3,000 for 1st place trout, plus payouts through 8th place in both categories. A 4-day pre-fishing contest runs July 20–23, and the Women's Tournament is Friday, July 24th.
